The Rapid Housing Stabilization Program helps households whose safe and stable living conditions have been disrupted by sudden hardship. Support is provided on a case-by-case basis and may include basic household setup items, cleanup supplies, bedding, minor recovery materials, limited emergency lodging, and other practical assistance that helps families get safe, settled, and moving forward.

Since September 2024, The Heroes Among Us has remained actively involved in relief and recovery efforts connected to Hurricane Helene. Through volunteers, donated goods, supply distribution, partner coordination, and direct support, we have continued to help meet practical needs across affected communities as recovery continues.

The Challenge Coin Program honors individuals in our community and beyond who demonstrate service, courage, leadership, and impact. This program was created to recognize those who quietly show up, serve others, and make our communities stronger.

Heroes Legacy Award
Honoring service families by investing in the next generation.
The Heroes Legacy Award provides an award to support to graduating seniors from service families. This program recognizes the sacrifice, commitment, and example set by families connected to law enforcement, fire, EMS, dispatch, and other service roles, while helping students take the next step into their future.
Application opens around January 20th.
